Seats
How Seats Work
Every team member in your workspace occupies one seat. The Business plan includes 1 seat (the workspace Owner). Each additional member requires an extra, pre-purchased seat.

ℹ️ Info: Seat charges are prorated. When you buy a seat mid-billing cycle, you pay only for the remaining days in that period. When you remove a seat, you receive a prorated credit on your next invoice.
Adding Seats
You purchase seats upfront, then invite members to fill them:
- Add a seat - In Settings > Team, click Add seat to purchase an extra seat. Billing adjusts immediately on a prorated basis.
- Invite a member - Send an invitation to a free seat. An invitation requires a free, already-purchased seat.
- Member joins - When the invited person accepts, they fill the free seat.
Removing Seats
When you remove a member from the workspace, their seat is released:
- Go to Team - Navigate to Settings > Team.
- Remove the member - Click the remove button next to the member's name and confirm. Then reduce your purchased seat count if needed.
- Seat freed - Your billing adjusts at the next invoice - you receive a prorated credit for unused days.
Storage per Seat
Each extra seat adds 5 GB to your workspace's shared storage quota:

How Seats Are Billed
Your bill is made up of the Business plan plus the number of extra, purchased seats. Seats are billed on the same cycle as your base plan (monthly or yearly). You'll find current rates on the pricing page.
⚠️ Warning: Removing members does not retroactively refund already-billed periods. Credits apply to future invoices.
Is there a maximum number of seats?
You can add seats as your team needs, up to 50 seats per workspace.
Can I pre-purchase seats before inviting members?
Yes. You purchase seats upfront (the Add seat button), independent of invitations. To send an invitation, you must have a free, purchased seat.
Do pending invitations count as seats?
To send an invitation you need a free, purchased seat. The seat is finally occupied when the member accepts the invitation and joins the workspace.
What happens to seats if I switch to yearly billing?
Seats are billed on the same cycle as your base plan. On a yearly plan, extra seats are billed yearly too, not monthly.
