Share Branding

Branded Share Pages

When you share a document with a public link, the share page can display your custom branding instead of the default clarife logo. This gives recipients a branded experience consistent with your organization.

ℹ️ Info: Full custom share-page branding (your own logo, brand color, hiding the clarife footer) is a Business feature. Removing the clarife mark in other channels depends on the channel and plan - see the table below.

ℹ️ Info: Full custom branding of the share page (your own logo, color, and hiding the clarife footer) requires the Business plan. In PDF exports, AI videos, and embeds, the Pro plan already removes the clarife mark.

Setting Up Share Branding

  1. Create a branding - Ensure you have at least one branding in your branding repository with a logo uploaded.
  2. Open share settings - In the editor, click Share to open the share dialog.
  3. Select a branding - Choose a branding from the dropdown. The share page preview updates to show your logo.
  4. Toggle Show branding - Enable or disable the Show branding toggle to control whether any branding appears on the share page.
  5. Save and share - Save your share settings. Recipients will see your branded share page when they open the link.

Branding Toggle

The Show branding toggle controls branding visibility on share pages:

Show branding ON + branding selectedYour custom logo appears on the share page
Show branding ON + no branding selectedclarife logo appears (default)
Show branding OFFNo logo or branding on the share page

💡 Tip: Use Show branding OFF when you want a clean, unbranded share page - useful for white-label scenarios.

⚠️ Warning: Changing a branding in the repository updates all share pages that reference it. If you update a logo, all active shares using that branding will reflect the change.

Custom Footer Link

In branding settings (the General section) you can set a custom footer link: an https address of your own site and an optional label (without a label, the domain is shown). The link replaces the "Made with clarife" footer on share pages, embeds, and knowledge base portals, and is always visible.

ℹ️ Info: The Hide clarife footer toggle only affects the default footer. When you set a custom link, it is shown regardless of that toggle.

Can I use different brandings for different shares?

Yes. Each share can have its own branding selection, independent of other shares or the workspace default.

Does branding work with password-protected shares?

Yes. The branding appears on the password entry page as well as the document view.

Can I remove the clarife logo from shares on Pro?

On the share page /s/ itself, removing or replacing the clarife mark requires the Business plan with a custom branding. In PDF exports, AI videos, and embeds, the clarife mark is already removed on the Pro plan.

Does share branding affect embedded views?

Yes. Iframe embeds and widget/popup embeds also reflect the branding settings of the share.
