Editing Documents

Block-Based Editing

Every document in clarife is built from blocks. Each block is an independent unit of content that you can move, edit, or delete individually.

Available block types:

Heading 1/2/3Section headings at three levels
Bullet listUnordered list with indent support
Numbered listOrdered list with indent support
ScreenshotImage with optional annotations and enhancer
Code blockSyntax-highlighted code
TableRows and columns with editable cells
DividerHorizontal separator line

Reordering Blocks

Drag any block by its handle (left edge) to reorder it within the document. The block list in the left panel also supports drag-and-drop reordering.

Adding Blocks

To add a new block, hover over the area between two blocks - a horizontal bar of add-block buttons appears: Heading, Text, Screenshot/Image, Divider, Code, and Table. Click a type to insert the block at that spot.
