What Is the Branding Repository?
The branding repository is a centralized place to store and manage your brand identities. Each branding includes a logo, color palette, an optional slogan, and an optional custom footer link that can be applied across exports, share pages, Knowledge Bases, and AI-generated videos.
ℹ️ Info: The branding repository is a Business plan feature. You can store up to 50 brandings.
Creating a Branding
- Open branding settings - Go to Settings > Branding in your dashboard.
- Click Create Branding - Click the New Branding button to start creating a new brand identity.
- Upload your logo - Upload a logo image (PNG or SVG recommended). This logo appears on exports, share pages, Knowledge Bases, and video intros.
- Set brand color - Choose a primary brand color using the color picker. This color is used for accents on exports, share pages, Knowledge Bases, and video branding.
- Add a slogan (optional) - Enter a brand slogan that appears in video intros and outros alongside your logo.
- Add a footer link (optional) - Set a custom footer link that replaces the default clarife link on share pages and Knowledge Bases.
- Save - Click Save to add the branding to your repository.
Branding Components
Each branding entry contains:

Managing Brandings
From Settings > Branding, you can:

| Preview | See how the branding looks before applying it |
⚠️ Warning: Deleting a branding does not retroactively remove it from already-exported files or published shares. It only prevents future use.
Where Brandings Are Used
- PDF and presentation exports - custom logo and colors on exported documents
- Share pages - branded share page with your logo and brand color
- Knowledge Base portals - your logo and brand color on your public help center
- AI video generation - custom intro/outro with logo, brand color, and slogan
- Custom footer link - replace the default clarife footer link on share pages and Knowledge Bases with your own
- Custom domain - serve your shared documents and your Knowledge Base from your own domain
💡 Tip: Set a default branding in your workspace settings so new documents automatically use your primary brand identity.
How many brandings can I create?
The Business plan allows up to 50 brandings. This is useful for agencies or teams managing multiple client brands.
Can I use different brandings for different documents?
Yes. You can select a specific branding when exporting or sharing any document, regardless of the workspace default.
What image formats are supported for logos?
PNG and SVG are recommended. JPEG is also supported but may produce lower quality at small sizes.
Can Pro plan users access the branding repository?
No. The branding repository is exclusive to the Business plan. Pro users use clarife's default branding, though they can remove the clarife mark from PDF exports, AI videos, and embeds.
