Quick Start

clarife is a tutorial creation app that turns screenshots into polished, shareable step-by-step guides. This guide walks you through the essentials.

1. Go to my.clarife.app — Open my.clarife.app in your browser.
2. Choose a sign-up method — Register with email + password, or sign in instantly with Google, Apple, or GitHub.
3. Confirm your email — If you registered with email, check your inbox for a confirmation link and click it.
4. Start your trial — Every new account gets a 14-day free trial of Pro features, plus 3 free AI video generations.

1. Click 'New Document' — From the dashboard, click the New Document button in the top-right corner. Give it a title.
2. Add screenshots — Upload screenshots by clicking the + button in the editor, dragging files onto the canvas, or pressing Cmd+V to paste from your clipboard.
3. Write instructions — Add text blocks between screenshots using the slash command menu (type /). Use headings, lists, and code blocks to structure your content.
4. Annotate your screenshots — Click any screenshot to open the annotation editor. Add arrows, rectangles, numbered steps, blur regions, and text labels to highlight what matters.
5. Enhance visuals — Use the Enhancer to wrap screenshots in device frames (browser, phone, desktop), add backgrounds, and apply padding for a polished look.

Once your document is ready, you have two options:

• Share — Click Share in the toolbar to generate a link. Optionally protect it with a password, email gate, or expiry date.
• Export — Click Export to download as PDF, HTML, or Markdown.
